Activities for children at Maihaugen in the summer
Summer is a time for discovery!
At Maihaugen, children can step back in time and discover what life was like in both town and countryside over a hundred years ago. The museum offers a delightful blend of play, learning, and hands-on exploration for the whole family.
Join in on guided tours, meet the animals grazing in the fields, and play in the open-air museum. Discover the historic playhouses and enjoy a break next to the playground in the Residential Area.
In the Town, children can try out old-fashioned games, and at the attic of the Norwegian Postal Museum, they can design their own stamp.
Check out the full programme in the What’s On calendar.
